About Posts and Plugins

Posts and Plugins is a handbook for people who run their own WordPress site. It is for beginners. You do not need to know how to code.

Each page is based on official WordPress sources. These include the WordPress documentation, the developer handbooks and the WordPress.org site. Where a source is useful, the page links to it, so you can read more or check a point for yourself.

We keep the writing short and the words simple. We add pictures where they help. Some are screens from the official documentation. Others are simple drawings made for this site. Your own screens may look a little different, because WordPress changes over time.

The site has no ads, no affiliate links and no sponsors. It does not tell you which hosts, themes or plugins to buy.
